A Pennant Story

Australia has a long history of surf club traditions, with the first ones founded in early 1900.

With rising of many surf clubs around NSW first and then around Australia, so started the beginning of surfing carnivals.

Each club, before competing against each other in different races, was marching and waving their club colours and pennant, along the beach in front of the crowd.
  

Fast forward to nowadays, each one of Salty Imagery pennants is inspired by the surf clubs colours and wants to pay homage and celebrate the old pennants that once were wave on our beaches, with a modern take.
